Okay. This has been bugging me for years. I'm going to tell you idiot drivers in the Baltimore area how to drive the Baltimore Beltway. First, the left lane is the "fast" lane. That means you shouldn't be driving 55 or 60 miles per hour in the left lane. If you are in the left lane and you have people passing you on the right, get in the other damn lane. Second, the far right lane is not a leisure lane. You should only be in that lane if you are ready to enter or exit the Beltway. If you are trying to merge onto the Beltway speed up to the god-damn speed limit. Don't frigging mosey onto the Beltway driving 45 mph, speed up! Third and lastly, if there is a police officer driving on the Beltway, it IS okay to do the speed limit. It doesn't mean you have to slow down if he/she is not driving the speed limit. Even if you pass, as long as you're doing the limit you are fine! Please take this advise and use it.
